About My Browser Info
MyBrowserInfo.net is a browser information checker built to show the technical details your browser and connection expose when you open a website. The goal is simple: useful results immediately, without making a basic browser check feel like a software installation.
What the Browser Checker Shows
- Browser name and version based on browser and user-agent information.
- Rendering engine and operating system detected on a best-effort basis.
- Device and display details including device type, screen resolution, viewport and color depth.
- Browser settings such as language, cookies and Do Not Track status.
- User agent exactly as reported by the browser.
Network and IP Information
The main tool also shows your public IP address, IP version and reverse DNS information when available. Approximate country, region, city, ISP and network information can be shown from IP geolocation data.
The location map is an approximate network location. An IP address is not a GPS coordinate and should not be treated as an exact physical address.
Why People Use It
- Technical support when a site or application asks for browser and version details.
- Web development for checking browser-specific behavior and compatibility.
- Testing different browsers, devices, proxies and network configurations.
- Privacy awareness for seeing some of the technical information websites can receive.
How Detection Works
Most browser and display values are read in the browser using standard web APIs and the user agent. IP and network values come from the normal web request and network lookup services.
Detection is best-effort. Browsers can reduce, alter or generalize information for privacy and compatibility, so some values may be less specific than the underlying device.
