Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is processed when you use MyBrowserInfo.net, which values are calculated in your browser, what the server receives, and where third-party services may be involved.
Browser and Device Information
The tool displays technical information such as browser name and version, rendering engine, operating system, device type, language, cookie status, Do Not Track status, user agent, screen resolution, viewport size, color depth and timezone.
Many of these values are calculated locally in your browser with standard JavaScript and browser APIs.
User Agent and Request Data
When you load a website, the server receives normal technical request information. This can include your IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamps and other standard HTTP data.
The user agent displayed by the tool is the browser information supplied by your browser and may be reduced or modified by modern privacy features.
IP Address and Network Information
Our server receives your IP address as part of the normal web request. The tool displays that address and may perform reverse DNS and approximate IP geolocation lookups to show network, ISP, city, region and country information.
We do not intentionally create a separate database of visitor IP addresses merely because someone uses the browser checker. Hosting infrastructure may retain standard server logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
Maps and Approximate Location
When approximate IP location data is available, the site may display a map using OpenStreetMap. Loading a third-party map can send normal request information, including an IP address and browser headers, to that provider.
IP geolocation is approximate and is not the same as precise GPS location.
Analytics
MyBrowserInfo.net uses analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, interactions and general site usage. Analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive technical and usage information according to their own policies.
Advertising and Affiliate Links
The site may display advertising, partner offers or affiliate links. Advertising providers and destination sites may receive technical request information when their content loads or when you follow a link.
Affiliate links may allow us to earn a commission without changing the price you pay. These links help support the operation of the free tools.
Third-Party Services
The current browser tool can rely on third-party services for functions such as approximate IP geolocation, public IP checks, maps, analytics and advertising. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies and technical practices.
Leaving MyBrowserInfo.net through an external link also means the destination website controls its own data collection.
Cookies and Browser Controls
The browser checker can display whether cookies appear to be enabled, but that display is simply a browser status value. Separately, analytics, advertising or other third-party services may use cookies or similar storage where permitted.
You can control cookies, tracking protections and site permissions through your browser settings and extensions.
Security, Retention and Accuracy
Technical logs may be retained by hosting or service providers for security, abuse prevention, reliability and troubleshooting. Retention periods can vary by provider and service.
Browser detection and IP geolocation are best-effort. Browsers, VPNs, proxies, privacy tools and network architecture can change or obscure the values that websites receive.
